Providing Gospel Resources
Tien Dao offers a variety of free evangelism tools and materials, bringing the message of the Gospel to those who have yet to believe through evangelistic events, revival conferences, camps, and short-term mission teams.
We rely on the prayers, donations, and volunteer services of our brothers and sisters in Christ. This support allows us to freely distribute effective resources to those in need. We warmly invite you to join us in this vital Gospel ministry.
Gospel Events and Shopping Mall Evangelism
Tien Dao organizes a variety of Gospel events in different ways.
In December 2022, over 30 Christian leaders from churches and organizations across the San Francisco Bay Area came together to discuss how to evangelize in the post-pandemic era, leading to the launch of a mall evangelism initiative. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, within just two weeks, over 100 brothers and sisters from various churches responded and participated in a Christmas caroling event held in three Chinese malls in December. Following this, God provided James 1:23 as the foundation for the initiative, and with the unified effort of Christian organizations and churches, the "123 Let's Go!" movement was officially launched! Currently, "123 Let's Go!" conducts monthly evangelism outings to malls, with approximately 250 brothers and sisters from over 50 churches sharing the Gospel at 10 Chinese malls each time. We warmly invite you to join the team and fulfill the Great Commission together!
The Gospel Bookstore offers a wide range of Christian resources in both Chinese and English, including Bibles, Christian literature, devotional books, Gospel tracts, religious gifts, and sacred music CDs. We also promote the New Chinese Version (NCV) and Worldwide Chinese Bible (WCB), known for they're faithfulness to the original text, readability, doctrinal purity, and Christ-centered focus. Our bookstore is one of the most comprehensive providers of Chinese Christian resources in North America.
Many have found inspiration and encouragement in the works of authors like Martyn Lloyd-Jones, John Stott, and Eugene Peterson. When pastors and church workers read spiritual books together with their congregations and engage in discussions, it can significantly strengthen the spiritual growth and edification of the church.

Reading spiritual books is incredibly important, especially in the busy lives of those living in the Bay Area. Making a special trip to Tien Dao Bookstore might be challenging for many. Inviting Tien Dao staff to host a book fair at your church not only saves everyone travel time but also encourages and fosters a culture of purchasing and reading spiritual literature among church members. We look forward to seeing Tien Dao hold more book fairs in churches, helping more brothers and sisters grow and be edified through spiritual books.
Bible Seminar
Tien Dao regularly co-hosts Bible seminars with the Worldwide Bible Society, inviting pastors and scholars to lead these sessions. These seminars are designed to equip and empower brothers and sisters in Christ to deepen their understanding of God's Word.
Family Ministry Resources
Through Tien Daos's Family Ministry, we offer a wealth of free resources, featuring insights from experienced professionals in family ministry, Christian education experts, seminary counseling professors, seasoned youth counselors with years of practical experience, and financial experts. In recent years, we have placed special emphasis on topics such as LGBTQ, mental health, school education, parent-child relationships, and the transmission of faith. By connecting these discussions with current events and collaborating with seasoned pastors and ministry workers, we aim to help families navigate today’s secular challenges and nurture a godly next generation.
Tien Dao Reading Club
The goal of the Tien Dao Reading Club is to promote the habit of reading spiritual books by providing a platform for sharing and discussing insights. Each session of the Reading Club selects a high-quality spiritual book, encouraging participants to read one to two chapters and corresponding scriptures each week. During the weekly meetings, a pastor leads the group in discussing the reading material and reflecting on their faith. Additionally, Tien Dao occasionally invites authors to join the meetings and engage with readers. Looking ahead, we hope to encourage church fellowships and Sunday schools to host reading clubs suitable for seekers and believers alike, using reading and discussion as a means to explore faith and strengthen participants.
Author-Led Discussion Events
Author-Led Discussion Events
In November 2022, Tien Dao invited Dr. Raymond Lai, one of the authors of Theology of Creation and Life, to share his research with participants in the 15th session of the "Tien Dao Reading Club." Participants expressed that the author's explanations greatly helped them understand the theological concepts in the book. As we enter the third year of hosting the "Tien Dao Reading Club," Tien Dao will be adding "Author-Led Discussion Events" to the regular reading club meetings. These events will occasionally feature authors who will join the sessions to engage with readers and discuss their work.
Pastoral Support Hub
Tein Dao cares deeply about the needs of pastors and ministry workers. To support them, we regularly invite seasoned pastors to the center to share their experiences in shepherding and ministry with pastors and seminary students. These gatherings offer an opportunity for in-depth discussions and exchanges, providing encouragement and inspiration to those serving in ministry.
Chinese Christian Book Publishing
Tien Dao Publishing in Hong Kong has published over a thousand books, covering a wide range of topics including biblical interpretation, theology, devotionals, evangelism, apologetics, Christian living, and family life. These publications not only address the comprehensive needs of believers but also equip them to face spiritual challenges.
Tien Dao maintains a clear and focused publishing strategy, prioritizing books on theology, biblical study, and exegesis, catering to believers at various levels of spiritual maturity. In addition to selecting and translating significant English works, Tien Dao actively seeks out Chinese authors to produce profound and impactful writings. Over one-third of the published titles are authored by Chinese scholars, including the extensive and representative "Tien Dao Bible Commentary" series, which has become an essential resource for pastors, seminary students, and committed believers in their biblical studies.
